We are happy to inform, that AB Maritime, has a new Tourist Line between Aqaba and Nuweiba, operated by Meenagate, Marine. (since 2011)
The tourist line sails daily with a fixed timetable, first class service and guaranteed departure.

We sail mainly with the High Speed Catamaran Babel, departing from the Royal Yacht Club, downtown Aqaba. In case the sea is rough, or we have big volume, we will sail with Princess, Queen or Ayla, the big ships who are departing from the Passengers Terminal.
In Nuweiba, we will use the Pyramid hall, for our clients only, meaning fast and smooth procedure.
You only need to be 1 hour in advance, before departure.
Sailing time is 90 minutes.
Our timetable is:
6 am departure from Nuweiba (egypt time) / 7 – 7.30 departure from Aqaba. (jordan time)
Bookings can be made by e-mail (info@meenagate.com) or you are more than welcome to pass by our office in Aqaba (next to JETT bus parking / opposite Kempinski hotel). Bookings needs to be made 24 hours in advance.

I flew in from Copenhagen and out to Amsterdam. Iceland Express and Iceland Air both have good flight deals.

nice!! my mate Paul just put me on to your blog as my gf and I are planning a trip with a route a bit similar to yours.. we’ve wanted to go to Iceland, but like you we had crossed it off the list as it seemed out of the way and too expensive… but this post makes me want to go!! I wonder where you flew from, and flew to next??

Hi Ben,

These pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Especially the ones you took in the evening with all the lights of the town turned on. Have you read this blog post on Santorini? It looks like such a beautiful place to visit, I really hope I get the chance sometime!

we off to albania for two week in sept 11 for our honey, people thought we chose a strange place, but we love the idea, of a unspoint by tourist place, cant wait. tirana then berut then vlora then durres, can;t fit much more in. j
