What do those OF bots get out of having reddit followers if they don't even have OF?

I saw a clearly fake OF bot posting on many looks focused and NSFW subreddits and stuff and it's obviously provocative things, but then you look at their profile and they don't even have an OF or anything linked? They did make a post thanking people for 400 followers, but why? How does this benefit them in any way? What do they get out of this?
